When you need a break from the heat, try this easy DIY recipe for cooling spray with Lavender essential oil. Instructions Fill the amber sprayer bottle about 1/3 if the way with witch hazel. Add Lavender oil, then replace the sprayer top on the bottle and shake well. Remove the top once again, fill the rest of the way with water then replace the top and store out of direct sunlight. Shake well before using and spray a few inches away from the skin to enjoy the skin-cooling effects. Avoid spraying around the eyes or other sensitive areas. Even when the summer months start to wind down, you can still enjoy this Lavender spray all year round. Delight in the refreshing, cooling mist anytime your skin needs a little extra soothing. Tea Tree Melaleuca alternifolia Direction for use For occasional skin irritations, apply 1–2 drops of Tea Tree essential oil onto affected area. Combine 1–2 drops with your facial cleanser for added cleansing properties or apply to skin after shaving. Apply to fingernails and toenails after showering to purify and keep nails looking healthy.
